Overview: We are seeking a skilled Civil Engineer specializing in pump station design and
hydraulics to join our team on a part-time basis. You will play a crucial role in designing and
overseeing various pump station projects as well as interfacing with other Engineers daily. This
position offers flexibility and the opportunity to contribute your expertise.
Responsibilities:
Pump Station Design: Design wastewater and stormwater pump stations for Engineers throughout Florida.
Project Oversight: Track progress of projects and follow up with Engineers as needed.
Client Interaction: Communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory
authorities regarding project progress, design changes, and approvals.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
State of Florida Professional Engineer License
Proven experience in hydraulic engineering, with a focus on pumps/pump station design
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Knowledge of regulatory standards and guidelines
